Business birthday greetings strengthen customer loyalty. 9Y creates a personal relationship and shows the customers or business partners that they are important. This way the 9Y relationship manager (= contact owner) leaves a positive impression with the congratulations and gets the opportnity to start a conversation with the customer or prospect.

What are the key issues?

• Make sure that the birthday card has a certain degree of individuality and a personal form of address. This way you will leave a positive impression with your congratulations.

• Don't go in for customer acquisition: A birthday card is a way of expressing your appreciation for existing business relationships. However, it is not suitable for putting your company's services in the foreground and landing new orders. The addressee could rightly view this negatively.

• Don't get too personal: Birthday wishes should be authentic and personal. Nevertheless it is important to find the right level of individuality and respect, since the card is written on behalf of 9Y. Exception: there is a friendly relationship to the customer.
