Out of Office

Whenever you’ll be out of office, for whatever reason, please do the following so that your colleagues know.

• Slack: Post a message in the Core channel letting your colleagues know.

• Productive: Request this time-off so it shows up in scheduling and updates your Slack.

• Google Calendar: set yourself as OOO, and reject your meetings. Do this in your own calendar (not core team), using the OOO feature – see video below.

• Google Calendar: create a “Gandalf OOO” event in the share team calendar. No longer necessary.

• Email: Set an email autoresponder so people know that you're not reachable. You can skip this for short absences, or when you don’t expect anything while you’re gone.
